Entry info: 1 withdrawal - their spot was taken by Lucky Loser-team.

NOTE: Martina Navratilova captured her first Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Title, as she and Paul McNamee survived 99 games on the last day of the Championship, playing the semis and the finals on the last Sunday. The 69-game-marathon in the Round of the last 4 against Betsy Nagelsen and Scott Davis became a Wimbledon-record (got broken in 1991.), the final on the Centre Court versus Australia's doubles-specialists Liz Smylie & John Fitzgerald with its 30 games seemed an easier battle. Martina made revenge on Smylie for beating her and Pam Shriver alongside Kathy Jordan on the previous night in the Ladies' Doubles Final stopping Martina&Pam's 109 match-winning-streak.
