Source: Draw/results from "World Of Tennis 1988" - thanks to Declan!
Entry info: #7 seeded team (?/?) pulled out were replaced by alternates: Hetherington/Baxter.
Notes:
Martina and Emilio won in a thrilling final set tie-break on their 7th match
point, after saving two on the Grandstand Court at the last the day of the event!
Navratilova captured a rare triple crown
-until this day the last one - might be forever
knowing that the top singles players hardly play doubles, almost never mixed,
and never all 3 - winning the
women's singles the day before, and the women's doubles with Pam Shriver earlier
on that Sunday.
Last triple was accomplished by Billie Jean King
in 1973 at Wimbledon / at the US Open by Margaret Court in 1970.
